MBRGI - Empty Plates
Prodigious Middle East produced a film that made a real difference. The #EmptyPlates initiative was created to highlight the 800 million people who suffer from hunger worldwide and to drum up support for the 1 Billion Meals campaign, launched by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. The initiative aims to distribute 1 billion meals to underprivileged and undernourished families in 50 countries across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. The campaign raised AED 53 million. With more than 560 number plates being auctioned on 20th April in Abu Dhabi and online, everyone could bid and donate to help fill those #EmptyPlates and fight hunger.
